    Yes the black edges are completely fine as that is a trait in some of them.

    This kind of Hoya is actually called a “Black Margin” Hoya or Hoya parasitica! So it’s completely normal and just their natural appearance :)

      It’s not a Hoya parasitica. It’s actually a rosita. Parasitica has more of a heart shape leaf

    I have no idea! lol •It’s in front of a south facing window •I fertilize once a month (but not at all in winter) •I have it in a terracotta pot and I don’t water it at all until the pot feels really light and the leaves just start to lose their firmness. I swear by terracotta for my Hoyas. They did ok in the plastic pots but they really took off when I moved them to terracotta! That cocktail seems to be working so far 😅🤷🏻‍♀️
