I just got this pretty little thing last night at Home Depot and the pot is about two inches nursery pot, my question is should I repot or wait?

I recommend letting it get acclimated a couple of weeks to its new environment before repotting. Repotting to a 3” or 4” pot at the most is sufficient. There shouldn’t be a huge root system. A new pot too big will make the plant focus on only growing roots.

I should have added that the soil used is very important. Hoyas don’t do well in soil that holds water too long. They climb trees and typically get water from rain wetting their aerial climbing roots. So, their ground roots grow very slowly. Use a chunky potting mix with coconut husk (coco coir), orchid bark, perlite or other aggregate to allow water to flow freely and provide lots of open pockets for air to get to the roots.
