Any idea what is causing these spots on my Hoya? Received it via mail on Friday. A few leaves had spots but I figured they were travel related so I snipped them off. But everyday new spots appear

    I am not very experienced with Hoya, but my first guesses would be: • checking the roots for any sign of rot. • that the dark spots are some kind of fungus or ‘rust’ spot. I’m not sure how you would treat fungal infection; but if you have premium Dr. Planta might have some suggestions.

    They get a little root rot if they water them right before shipping. Then, they completely wrap the pot and soil in plastic wrap to let it simmer while shipping in summer. You have to let the soil dry out. Remove the pot a few hours to help the soil dry faster, if needed. Don’t water again until the soil is dry. Check for root rot. 🍀🪴
