Show me the Greens!

I’ve had my heart Hoya since it was… 3 hearts I think. And it’s grown tremendously! Proud plant parent. The bottom hearts have some brown/black markings 😢 What can I do?

    Looks like root rot, inconsistent watering because some leaves look wrinkled or it could be fungal issues. Also, check for pests. Check the roots for rot and wet slow drying soil. The pot looks too large for a hoya that size. The excess soil holds too much water and the plant can’t use it up before it rots in oversized pots. Rot is mushy and the roots smell swampy. 🪴🍀

      Will check. Thank you. Should I pinch off the affected hearts?

      You can remove those especially if it’s a fungus issue. There are enough leaves left for photosynthesis. Take cuttings for propagating if you find root rot. 🪴🍀
