I got a Hoya Fungii so that I could join this group! I hope that this will spark an obsession for Hoyas!

    Hoyas are the best, not very fussy at all and such epic flowers :))) not that mine have ever done that lol

      I just don’t like that they grow so slow.

      I knowwww😭 if you want one with quicker growth I recommend a more established plant, and it may be anecdotal but I notice that my pubicalyx puts out leaves super quickly, so many per month that I can’t bother to keep track anymore

      My Pubicalyx plants grow like weeds. Took four years to bloom twice. I found some hoyas are fast growers given direct morning sunlight until noon and bright shade from noon onwards. They need regular fertilizer especially when blooming. My Hoya Fungii is a fast grower. The photos show one year of growth. I had to get a talker bamboo trellis and still had to form loops with the main vines to keep them from hugging the neighboring plants. It bloomed 3 times this year. It’s in the original 3 inch plastic pot it arrived in. 🪴 🍀

    Hi welcome, Nash, Glad to see you and your new Hoya Fungii. BTW, My Hoya obsession began quite a while ago. They’re truly addictive! There is something magical about having them root from a tiny baby and growing them to flower. This was the first year I successfully had several of my plants flower 🌼 Priceless ❣️
