Hello all! So I just got my first Hoya and I'm super exited. I was wondering if it is better to let them hang out of the pot or clip them to a pole to grow upwards? Or is it just personal preference? Thank you 😊

      I only have a few, so someone who's a true hoya hoarder might have some better trellis insight

    I think it is just personal preference. It seems like some Hoyas grow faster on a trellis. This one took off when I put it on a circular trellis about two years ago. Your plant is beautiful! Hope you enjoy it!!

  3. My precious

    I was told that some Hoyas won’t bloom if you just let them hang. I don’t know how true this is though, or whether it depends on the type, so maybe someone who’s been growing Hoyas for years can shed some light on this.
