I’m new to plants, and I just received a Hoya Krohniana Splash! I’m really excited to have this plant, and I already love it. However, when I was looking it over I noticed some brown patches on the stem. Is this a sign of something that needs to be addressed?
It looks a bit dehydrated. The aerial roots look dry too. It could be from shipping. You already watered it. Just watch it a couple of weeks to see if the dry spots increase. You may have to cut at the dry stem section to propagate the top. It should do well. My little Hoya Krohniana Splash cutting came in about a month ago. It’s already back to normal. It wasn’t too dry. 🍀🪴
Beautiful! Thanks so much for your comment! I will be sure to keep a close eye on it. The soil pod was very dry when it arrived. I believe it has already perked up a bit since potting and watering ☺️
