brand new to hoyas - this pubicalyx splash is my first! a week later and i’m already jumping for joy over new teeny baby leaves lol also already hunting for the perfect variegated hoya compacta and deep diving into even more types! 🥰 love it here already lol
Congratulations on your first Hoya! 🌿 Hang on, the Pubicalyx is a fast growing one. Hoya compacta variegated is a beautiful plant but slow growing for me. Lastly, they are very addicting with over 300 species.

Yes, very slow growing. Pretty pricey too 😮💨 but that doesn’t stand in the way of someone on a mission 😏

Yours is lovely! This is mine less than a year after rescuing her from a Lowe’s. Highly recommend keeping it off a trellis and letting it become a trailing plant 😊 She’s definitely one of the best plant purchases that I’ve ever made. She’s so low-maintenance.
