What is the best type of soil to do a repot for a Hoya? TIA!

    I mix it by hand with a lot bit of everything. Pumice and choir chips and pithe, orchid bark mixture, a little worm casting. But the latest mix I did with sphagnum moss as the base OMG it was gorgeous and I included just some all purpose to give it the texture. So I don't like to make the mixture too dry actually cuz they like some space between watering but it still need to be airy

    I like sol soils chunky mix but anything with good drainage will be fine!

    Chunky mix with and aggregate like perlite, coco coir, orchid bark and worm castings for nutrients. The mix shown was for small starter plants. So, I used small diameter perlite and no orchid bark chips. I use the pumice stone because I had it on hand plus it helps with drainage. I don’t typically use it for established plants because the perlite is sufficient.

      I second this! The soil I use has these components and my plants love it, especially the hoyas.

      Each layer is a separate product. I bought them from Amazon a couple of years ago. There’s nothing special about them. The coco coir comes in a dry compressed block that swells in water.
