New to plants, and just adopted this Hoya heuschkeliana variegata. Any tips on fertilizer (type, how often?) or sun placement? I have her across from a west facing window that gets some good indirect sunlight in the afternoon / evening. Are they also best as a hanging or climbing plant?

This has become one of my favorite houseplants. They love the sun and will get that beautiful watercolor hue when sun stressed. I have mine directly on the window sill and during the summer fertilize every watering with Superthrive foliage pro.

0 likes It’s a gentler fertilizer, if you’re worried you can use it once a month for maintenance.
