Beautiful!šŸ˜ I had to put mine in morning sun to get it to put out 2 peduncles. It burned a little. The sun stressed look is like a crime scene. Bloody. Not cute. šŸ˜„ I’ve had it over a year. It was old when I bought it.

Awww I’m actually super impressed it’s still surviving and blooming despite the sun stress!

That is so cool. I've never gotten my hoyas to bloom. Did you propagate it from a mother plant? If so did you use water, or spaghnum moss or ??

My friend had clipped a leaf and I actually had put it straight into succulent soil! It’s grown like crazy over 5 years and just bloomed this year for the first time ever. I also feed it regularly with plant food as well. Omg it bloomed a second one today! I’m over the moon!

I got about a dozen hoyas to bloom by putting them in direct morning sunlight this year. They were all outside last year in bright indirect light and none bloomed. I have 5 that have bloomed constantly since spring and are still blooming. I’m positive hoyas direct sunlight in early morning or late evening to bloom. The alternative is a strong grow light indoors. None of my grow lights were strong enough to produce blooms last year and this summer.
