My Hoya Cumingiana put out several blooming peduncles that smell very sweet. You can smell the scent outside from 6 feet away! The scent is sugary and fruity. It smells like a bag of tropical candy with sweet flowers, mango and citrus notes. It’s supposed to smell stronger at night. It wasn’t overpowering at 9am. I thought my neighbor got a new fabric softener. 😍🪴🍀

Wow stunning!! Do these like high humidity?
1 gilla They like the heat and humidity. I’m in south Texas (zone 9) and you can cut the humidity. It also does well in the house in winter with a lot lower humidity levels and lower temperatures. I keep it in a south window in winter. It only blooms outside with the help of direct morning sunlight.
