My Hoya Burtoniae put out its first peduncle. I initially had it outside in a northwest location getting afternoon sun and shaded by the house from the hottest midday heat and intense light. In April, I moved it to the wall where the other hoyas were starting to bloom. It put out a lot of new growth for weeks with no signs of blooms until this week.
I can’t wait for you to smell the scent! My Burtoniae tend to bloom during winter for some strange reasons. And when it does, its stunning flowers remind the smell of cookies just out of the oven….yum 🍪
