Hoya Elliptica. This is her best blooms yet!😍 She’s a bit pale from being sun stressed. Came in a 4” pot. Never repotted. I will repot next spring to a slightly larger pot. I added the bamboo trellis last year when she had a growth spurt and started blooming. I got her in March 2024 on Etsy (BradysPlantExchange).

1 like Thank you. It easier to grow than it looks. It grows fast and bloomed a few moths after I got it. I keep it in direct morning light and afternoon shade. Smells like a very light sweet perfume. I have to put my nose close to smell it unlike the scent of my Hoya Krohniana and Hoya Lacunosa plants that scent up the backyard.

Wow, gorgeous! They compliment the foliage so well. I love the subtle variation of color in the middle even with it being a cream colored bloom
1 like Thank you. It’s worth owning. Not fussy at all. The leaves are typically darker. Mine are a bit sun stressed this summer. The photo shows the original darker foliage when it got less direct sunlight last year. This is 3 months after I got it. She tripled in size and put out 2 peduncles even though one blasted its flower buds.

0 likes That’s the arrival photo. I just removed it from the delivery box packaging. I take photos of the unboxing of every plant I buy online in case they arrived damaged. I use the photos to get my money cheerfully refunded or to get a new or better plant from the seller. 😁 I rarely get severely damaged plants. All the sellers except one have been fair and friendly with the refunds or replacement plants. The one exception lost his argument and Etsy gave me a refund.
1 like I see. I’ve also just read that putting saran wrap over plants is a method to help when going away on holiday, to preserve moisture in the soil. I’ve only bought my plants online as well, so I appreciate what you’re saying. I’ll take photos next time!
1 like Always read the fine print. Read the full description, damage and shipping policies. I bought from an online shop that required unboxing videos and others required damage claims filed within two hours of delivery! 😃
1 likeYou can repot any time of year. You’ve got it a warm, well lit environment. It should be just fine. I repot all year round. I also fertilize all year round
