So I got a little over excited after looking at Hoya pictures online andā¦well I ordered 2 cuttings. The problem is Iām not sure how to propagate them. Theyāre in a covered container with spagnum moss. And advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

when you say youāre not sure how to propagate them, do you mean pot them? or you want to propagate them more? if theyāre just cuttings they probably need to get established for a few months or more before propagating again š±

0 gillningar ah, i see! you can keep them in sphagnum & let them root in there for a couple of months! just keep the moss a bit most & donāt let it dry. the problem is that itās pretty tough to remove the moss from the roots afterward š¤ otherwise you can try rooting them with your favorite prop method like in water or perlite š

lots of light, humidity, and airflow. and of course time, it may take weeks to see any growth. i keep my cuttings in a closed container and open daily for a few minutes for air. iāve had the most success rooting hoya in pumice or coarse perlite, almost all my cuttings in sphagnum moss have rotted but i do also live in a very humid environment. itās 90-100% humidity most summer days.
