Any recommendations on my new Hoya? Does it look healthy, is it growing, etc.? New to the Hoya plant so any recommendations will help :)

    I adore Hoyas! I wish I discovered my love for them earlier because there are several types I want, but no room. Oh well. Hoyas are fairly easy, imo. They need a lot of light and only water when the leaves wrinkle a little bit. They hate their roots messed with, so you can leave it alone and repot every few years or so. I find after repotting, I don’t see a lot of leaf growth for the first few months. Maybe focusing on roots? Idk. Another note, is the plant in a smaller pot inside the stand? Pot looks a little big for the size of the plant and you want to make sure there is drainage. Good luck!

    I can see 3 obviously active growth points on your plant, there could be more that just aren’t visible, that’s great! One is the dark brown long runner, the other two are the darker brown circular areas to the far left and right on separate stems on the node. I could be wrong but it appears that your longest runner is dead ended and dried out, but it could just be the picture. But it’s definitely growing! You have a Carnosa there, the perfect beginner Hoya!
