Are these yellow leaves sun/light stress? Something else? They feel firm. I took cuttings from it about a month ago that I eventually will pot back with this one.

    Hoya prefer bright but in-direct lighting 
 where does the plant sit ? As the leaves are showing some form of stress

      It’s very near a West facing window. Lots of other Hoyas in the same area, but none of them have this type of velvety leaf.

    Hoya serpens or Hoya linearis (velvet) species. Hoya will naturally have yellow aged leaves from time to time! The issue could stem from overwatering or under watering. Without checking your soil to determine if it’s water logged or very dry - it’s hard to determine what could be the cause. Not much help I know! đŸ€Ł! That’s my it’s a constant learning process where you will experience losses
.. I tend to water my Hoya once a week, ensuring that the plant isn’t sitting in water ( drained pot), like you I tend to go for a particulate substrate that doesn’t hold water
. I’d get my fingers into the substrate & check if it’s very wet or dry before taking next steps
. At least you are showing some concerns which is good house-keepingđŸ˜€đŸŒ±

      Thanks. It is in an airy usual airy mix with a little extra bromeliad soil mixed in. The cuttings are rooting well already. I do check soil before watering. I think I’m still just getting familiar with this one, but we’ll work it out!
