My new 2 Hoya Retusa…..hard not to love this particular foliage. Now, hoping to have them bloom at some point in the future….if that lucky 🍀🤞🏼By the way…..is there anyone like me that at times (many!) buy not one but two plants of the same genre? 🤦🏻‍♂️😱🤣

I buy two if they are in pots 3” wide or less to faster get a full plant in one pot. I also buy two if the price is a bargain or I like the plant a lot. I can always sell the second plant when it matures to recoup the costs.

Love Retusa! They have both bloomed with sweet sporadic white flowers. This was once one strand that I have multiplied quite few times.

Thank you but I say that as if it was some show lol. The little pot had three blooms and the big one about 5 or 6. Yes it was pretty BUT… If I want to see that trail, I need to stop cutting. 😬

Yes they are just hard to resist. I don’t have one of those yet. I need to get one. But this is my collection so far.

Thank you. It was a discounted plant last year so I had a soft spot for it. It was a very pale green reporter and she flourished and has been blooming the past month and a half

That was my thought, exactly! My Kerrii is a slow poke. Beautiful display, Linda!

I often consider buying two of the same plant, but I usually convince myself not to for money and space reasons lol. If I had a lot fewer plants, I definitely would buy multiples of my favorites to make fuller showcase plants. Honestly, it’s really what I should be doing instead trying to “catch em all” 😂 Quality over quantity and all that My retusa has slowly but surely filled out more. It was very sparse when I first got it a year or so ago. It grew a bud once, but it dropped before flowering unfortunately. Still a super fun hoya Edit: I just peeked at your profile and saw you have 300+ plants. So you’re a “gotta catch em all” type too! 😂 Well I live with people who don’t appreciate living in a home jungle 🥲 I need to live on my own! 😜

I know…..300+ plants. That’s crazy, eh? Definitely it is hard work, looking after them at around 30/40/50 + every day sounds a lot, but once you find your way to manage that, then it turns out to be quite relaxing and mostly satisfying doing so and seeing them growing healthy and looking great. And yes.... I live alone...💪🏼🤣
