HELP These Hoya Bella’s have been rooted in my fish tank and they have really taken off!! They are from my grandmas original Hoya Bella, and I want to have them as my centrepiece at my wedding!! How do I move these to soil without them dieing? I also have leca ( which I haven’t had much success with yet) if that would work better before moving to soil?

What did you have them rooting in?

Sorry I had them rooting in the aquarium. Not the substrate. The substrate in the tank though was an organic potting mix with a sand cap.

OK, I was just trying to determine if your substrate was stratum which is typically used in aquarium mixes. Since you’re using it for your wedding and it’s a Bella. )She likes to be a little more moist never dried out) You may do well to move her to perlite, If you put it in a glass container and then into an opaque pot, you will be able to pull it out and show the glass white and Bella at your wedding. Depending how far out your wedding is, she could grow indefinitely that way. At least until she is totally rebound, which would be a while.

Doesn’t hurt to add a little superthrive to your watering mix
