좋아요 1개These are typically slow growers! Amazing you have had so much growth! It must be loving its environment so much 😄
3개 좋아요that’s why i’ve been so scared to cut it, i never expected this much growth - when i got it it had 3 leaves! its slowed down now so i think its finally time haha
2개 좋아요What’s your secret?
2개 좋아요i honestly don’t know, i’ve gone through big moves 3 times since i got it so maybe it likes change 😅
좋아요 1개You can cut it and plant the cutting back in the same pot to make it fuller.
4개 좋아요do you plant the cuttings straight in the pot after cutting, or let them grow roots in water first?
좋아요 1개Tbh, I am not really sure which method is better with Hoyas. A quick Google search showed a variety of things, but several sites and people did mention water propagation is not always successful. I saw a lot mention pure sphagnum or maybe the perlite method. I wonder if the Fluval/perlite mix might be the best method? Maybe someone on here with more experience can chime in?
좋아요 1개I dip the cuttings in rooting hormone and then plant it right into the pot with the mother plant. Has been fairly successful.
2개 좋아요Many times I loop a branch back around where I can put something on top of it to hold it down on the medium and it will root.
2개 좋아요That’s a good idea too. Then once it roots you can either cut the loop or leave it.
2개 좋아요This looks like the perfect candidate for a trellis loop! I love them for my Hoya. Sometimes I do one, sometimes I do two. Your Kerii looks VERY happy 💕
좋아요 1개They’re pretty affordable on Amazon, forgot to add that
좋아요 1개so cute!! i’ve been trying to decide what to do with him since he’s too lopsided in the pot, that’s a good idea!
