Wanting to chop and prop my hoya carnosa. The leaves are spread out on this shoot (moved it into a south facing window from an east facing one a few months ago so hopefully will solve that problem). Can I chop and prop now or should I wait until growing season? Can I prop the sections that don’t have mature leaves yet? How could I go about propping the ‘sticks’? 😂

You can chop and prop now if you’d like. I don’t find it makes much difference. Mine are entirely on artificial light and the temperature doesn’t waver that much for them to really stop growing during the winter. Hoyas root fairly easily but I haven’t had much luck with wet sticks. Only one had really done anything. I have also struggled propping immature leaves. I have done it successfully but not as much success as the nodes with mature leaves.
