The app is telling me that these are the same thing. But they do not look the same. So what do you guys say?

    They’re probably both Hoya Carnosa, but different varieties

    The first is a Hoya Crassipetiolata. The second is a Hoya Pubicalyx variety. The flowers will identify the variety of Pubicalyx. The second photo shows my Hoya Pubicalyx Pink Silver. It’s sun stressed in east light. Its first bloom is shown. Both plants are about 2 years old. 🪴🍀

      So the pubicalyx has the darker veins?

      I should correct to state the Pubicalyx was about three years old when I got it. So, it bloomed about 4.5 years. Both plants are avid growers. Expect lots of vines that like hugging the neighbors. 😂

      No. Pubicalyx has barely visible veins. The Crassipetiolata in your first photo has the black veins.
