What’s the biggest pot size you would go for our beautiful and sometimes not so pretty. lol 🪴

    Ok lets say this plant is root bound should you up size it and keep upsizing it. So knowing the hoyas and growth rates and them liking smaller pots. This make more sense? If I wanted to keep it the same size would I cut the roots and refresh the soil

    You can upsize the pot if the plant is root bound, starting to deteriorate and you don’t mind a larger pot. You can keep it in the same pot after removing the over grown roots if you don’t mind losing some leaves and stems. I will add that I rarely see overgrown roots issues on my hoyas.

    Most of my hoyas are in 4 inch pots. The photo shows many in 5 inch pots that are several feet long. I have several in 6 inch pots a few I bought in 8 inch pots (Hoya Nummularioides). I might upsize a pot and use a larger ceramic outer pot to keep the plant from toppling over.
