My first hoya! Hi! Give me all the tips on best caring for my newest addition! She sure is tiny now, but excited to watch her grow :)

    Yay! Welcome to the start of your collection! We find, you cant always stop at one 🤣 Patience is key. Variegated species I find love light but not direct sun. Don’t cut any creepers - they reveal what the plants need. Be mindful of over watering. Along with dry soil, leaves will also tell you when it’s time to H2O. In addition to fertilizer and vitamins, some also give orchid spray 1x a week. Hoyas are beautiful with or without blooms 😊 Happy growing!

    My only recommendation is bright light and something to climb! I have this short little trellis on my carnosa but he’s already wrapped himself all around and is looking to leave now so start with something longer than you think you’ll need.

    With my first hoya, I found out they're unusually fast if they get root rot. If you ever see signs of that, propagate to save it ASAP. My second hoya is doing better

      Oh man I had one that was fine right up until all the leaves fell off in 24 h because the roots had rotted 🫠
