My sweetheart bloomed! šŸ˜ I’ve always heard Hoya blooms have a sweet scent, but I don’t smell anything with this girl. I don’t mind though, for my first experience with a Hoya, I am so happy I’m doing something right.

Try smelling your bloom again in the evening, this is the time when Hoya are pollinated and I’ve found some of mine only produce a scent at night.

I also heard that not all Hoya produce scent. I just searched and it says Kerrii produce faint smell or no smell at all.

I haven’t noticed a scent, but I also haven’t intentionally sniffed the flowers. I’ll check for myself and see if
