    My camera ai labels both of my Hoya as that same thing! I have a Crimson Queen and Quinquenervia…the Queen is Gwen (a successful cutting from my Mom’s 45+ year old plant) the other I just got yesterday, thinking of naming her Harley!?

    Kinda looks like a Hoya burtoniae. Are the leaves slightly fuzzy?

      No, not really. It was labelled at the nursery but I forgot what it was 😭

      This is not a heuschkeliana. That's an exceptionally bad guess even for LLM-based AI which is notoriously inaccurate to begin with. This Hoya clearly has chubby leaves while heuschkeliana leaves are flat with pointed tips.

    Fun fact that there are somewhere between 300 to 500 scientifically recognized different species of Hoya? Also known as a wax plant. also known as a porcelain flower 😊

    Porcelain flower is just a generic name for all hoya. Crimson princess is a variety of Hoya carnosa. The hoya in this post looks like a hoya burtoniae to me but I can't be certain. It's definitely NOT a heuschkeliana though. Heuschkeliana does not have fuzz on the leaves and they have a completely different leaf shape.

    Maybe if you look at the underside of the leaf. My sp. aff. Burtoniae is slightly fuzzy with a slightly cupped leaf. I’m new to Hoyas so I can’t contribute a guess but your plant does look similar to my Burtoniae. Don’t judge her she was a clearance rack rescue!!
