Hi Hoya Friends! I bought this baby a year ago and it was growing the shorter leaves (named Hoya Lacunosa Moonlight) and it started sprouting these leaves that were 2x as long. Now I’m worried because there is some discoloration and the leaves are a little wrinkly. My garden room is anywhere from 60-70% humidity and I know wrinkly leaves can mean not enough water or too much water but I was hoping to get your insight before I make a mistake? Help! I don’t want to lose my baby!

Check the roots. Post a pic of them if you need feedback.

The plant is dehydrated based on the wrinkles and the pronounced veins. The pic shows my Hoya Krohniana Super Silver that I put outside in April. It doubled its vines by May and put out lots of flowers. The demand for water increased with the new growth and higher temperatures. So, it got dry, wrinkled and pock marked leaves. The veins became more pronounced. All signs of dehydration. I was keeping up with the watering needs by August as the plant grew denser and started to seed. Most wrinkles went away. Some are permanent. The light color is sun stress. Not an issue. My pic shows similar color changes from April to August because it got bright direct sunlight for about 4 hours each morning. 🍀🪴

Another example with a Hoya Lacunosa Mint I put outside in October. The leaves were flat with a slight sheen. Then, wrinkled, started to fold close to conserve water and the leaf tips bent down because of dehydration. Sun stress changed the color of the leaves especially the backs.
