Is it normal for a Krohniana to have thin and bumpy leaves? TIA

    When mine started to look like that, she didn’t make it much longer. I think I had underwatered her and then overwatered her, was neglectful over the holidays and couldn’t recover. Have you checked her roots? When mine looked like that she had root rot.

      I just received her Monday from Gabriella Plants and she had lost a lot of soil in the box. I put her in an orchard pot with chunky orchard mix and LECA then watered her from top. Do you think I should put her in a bucket of water?

    What type of Krohniana is it ? The long leaves make it look like one of my Hoya Lacunosa plants. It needs water when the veins start to look thicker than the rest of the leaf or it starts to look wrinkled and bumpy. My photo shows a Hoya Krohniana Black needing water.

    How is the soil?

      It was sandy and most of it was all over the box and only half was still surrounding the roots. I placed it in a pot with chunky orchid mix and LECA. I have since soaked it in a bucket of water and it looks so much better now. I did leave the soil on the roots so it was probably a bit hydrophobic
