currently I only have 3 Hoya. but I am loving the genus so far! Hoya carnosa compacta, Hoya pubicalyx splash, and Hoya mathilde splash!

    I cannot get my hoya mathilde splash to grow for the life of me so I'm going to put it outside tomorrow. All i have are east facing and north facing 🫤 but good luck with yours!!

      Thanks! Currently almost all of my plants are under a grow light. and it took a little bit for those new green shoots to pop out. but now they’re forming teeny little leaves

      I have seven 1” and 2” pots of Hoya Mathilde rooted cuttings. All were inside growing slowly under grow lights with no blooms. I moved three of them outside last summer and this year. They are on a northeast wall getting full morning sun until about 11am when the house shades them. They are in bright shade the rest of the day. The outside ones are growing robustly and have started their second season of blooms. My single plant grow lights are too cheap. 😁The indoor Mathildes grow slowly and have never bloomed. I’m in zone 9 with high humidity and warm temps in spring, hot in summer. I recommend the east window so the plants can get direct sunlight onto the leaves. Bug screens and the tint in the window glass will slightly decrease the intensity of the light. The north window won’t help much at all. 🪴🍀
