I have a Hoya curtosci (not sure spelling). I want to propagate it. How has anyone done it? What has worked what hasn’t. Help needed please and thank you.

I am personally not good at hoyas yet, but from videos I've seen on the topic, the general idea is you cut a vine or short sections and lay them on top of moist media (I've seen 100% perlite, 100% sphagnum, or a chunky soil mix in different videos). Most used sealable prop boxes to keep humidity up. The root nodes are where each leaf connects to the stem

2 likesI'm using perlite in a takeout container with holes, it doesn't have to be fancy, it just needs enough light and a little humidity.
0 likesI just did a short cutting of a string of hearts in water and it is rooting fine.
