    My guess is the soil holds too much water. I'd downsize the pot if possible and add some perlite. I like to make soil for them rly chunky. They like to dry out relatively quick and like to be kinda snug.

    It looks dry like half of my hoyas plants right now. 😁 You can tell from the dryness on the new growth, leaf drop and the crispy leaves. I recommend watering after checking the soil with a chopstick or even your finger. Don’t wait until it stays dry for days. Water right after the soil completely dries out. Don’t follow a strict schedule. I agree with adding a chunky mix. It has good drainage and allows more oxygen at the roots that these like. 🍀🪴
