CrixVerdeThese are a couple of very interesting questions about Hoyas!! Cant wait to hear all the answers!! ❤️ For what myself can answer, then I can only judge on what i own….and personal taste! For the smelling then Hoya Krohniana is just outstanding! So powerful! Best looking Hoya…??? So much to choose from….but again, for me, i can’t help myself..the Hoya Retusa has always been a favourite of mine. Those “needles” shaped leaves are truly unique!

SunnyHoyas have the most varied scents from fruit to candy to baked goods. Hoya Heuschkeliana smells like buttered popcorn and butterscotch. Hoya David Cummingii (Hoya Noona) smells like cake batter! I can’t pick a Best Looking one. But, my favorite of 2024 is my Hoya Heuschkeliana yellow. I bought a full size plant with 13 peduncles blooming. It added lots more and has bloomed consistently all summer. It’s still blooming while sitting in a dark corner for 2 weeks in December. The variegated Hoya Heuschkeliana has put out its first flower. See the pic.

Membre PlantaMy mother in law has a carnosa and she is huge and smells wonderful for a home scent. It is very strong but not in a bad way. ( I ignore the clipped on flowers, personal style)
