Newbie here! My best friend has gifted me with several cuttings of what I believe is Hoya Burtoniae. The cuttings are currently in water and I have them placed under a grow light! What kind of soil should I be transferring them to once they’ve rooted? Any insight/tips/tricks to help this plant see success would be so appreciated!

Substrate depends upon your environment. A light airy mix works well. Bark, perlite and soil like happy frog. Coco chips with some coir and perlite can work too. That said, I have had my burtoniae cuttings in a milk glass vase for 2 years. It grows and blooms in the vase 😊

Just looked closer at the pic. Clip off the leaves under water or they will rot and rot the stem. Let the clipped cutting dry and put it right back in the water. Alternatively you could put those two bottom leaves in some potting mix to root. Just clip the stem right above the node.
