Super happy with the plant trade I made the other day! Received cuttings for both Hoya polyneura and Hoya mathilde. The mathilde is super splashy, so that was a pleasant surprise. The cuttings are small though, so I'm going to try rooting them in sphagnum moss. It's my first time propagating this way so tips are appreciated. I usually just do water propagating. Can't wait to grow these babies out! I'm thinking of taking cuttings from my wayetii to try and propagate this way as well.

    I only water propagate. I don’t like trying to untangle the thin, fine roots from the moss.

    I propagated Hoya like this sometimes, especially when the cuttings are very small, and I’ve had great success. I add a rooting nutrient to the moss and mist the leaves with a foliar spray once a week to encourage growth. Good luck! Gorgeous plants!

      Yea, their stems were way too short for water propagating. I was thinking of watering it through with Super Thrive water.
