I have had my Hoya Noona plant about 8 months. It’s been in a northeast facing bay window most of the time growing lots of vines and no flowers. I put it outside the window into high humidity, 87°F average temperatures with very bright indirect light in the shade of the house. It put out its first ever peduncles after being outside 3 weeks! It’s the fourth hoya that started blooming after i moved them to that location. I might build a living wall of hoyas on this outside north wall! It’s their happy place and mine!😄

I learned over the last year that my hoyas like a lot more light than I was giving them to bloom. Most of them spent last summer and autumn outside on a covered patio getting morning and late afternoon direct sunlight in my zone 9a area. None bloomed. I have 6 hoyas in the light shade of the north wall of my house that are blooming. My Hoya Heuschkeliana (yellow) has been blooming 6 weeks!
