Hello, I am new here. I have a terrible infestation of Gnats in all my plant. I am wondering what is the best way to get rid of Gnats.

    I put diatomaceous earth (food grade) on the surface and I also put in some of those sticky yellow traps in the plants to help stop the flying around so much. I stay on top of these measures until I see fewer and fewer flies on the stickies (which I change out frequently to gauge where we are.

      Oh and I do let the surface dry out more and water from the bottom if possible.

    I mixed 1 pint of water with 4 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and water the plant from the top the first time I see gnats around and then add the yellow sticky traps around it. This water mix kills the eggs. If anything survived, it will eventually fly toward the sticky trap. After tge first time I add this water mix I only bottom water. Gnats live and lay eggs on the top 2 inches of a wet top soil.

    I had success with using mosquito bits to stop fungus gnats in outdoor potted plants.

      I use it on my indoor plants too and this works great!
