    Beautiful! I think I’ve finally given up on Compacta. They are kicking my butt!! Can’t keep them healthy.

      Oh no! That’s a bummer :( . I think sometimes plants underestimates how much water they might need because this one blooms a lot and the leaves get really wrinkly so I have to water more often

      I feel that way about my hoya carnosa on my front porch. It's huge and really hot outside and I'm worried the app is making me underwater it.

      Yeah I’d pay attention to the leaves and if they are wrinkly then give some water

      You’re right it’s confusing because they are succulent like because their leaves store water! I usually follow app suggestion for watering frequency when the plant is not blooming. It’s just during blooming times or if it’s hotter that I think it’s not as helpful and I pay more attention to the state of the leaves to signal if it needs water.
