My first EVER Hoya blooms! But a bunch of them fell off before fully opening 😭 don’t mind me using my phal. Bronze maiden as a backdrop for the fallen blooms lol. Does anyone know why this might have happened? (They’re still SO beautiful and I’m so excited to have them at all) 😆
Unfortunately, hoyas blast off their flowers. It’s hard to figure out the cause especially when the plant looks healthy. I just verify it’s watered, fertilized and gets sufficient light. Then, just pray the next blooms don’t fall off.

Also some Hoyas tend to stress if their buds are touched by bare hands before they bloom. It happens a couple of times with my Hoya Sigillatis and Pubera.
