What is the best trellis for Hoya’s Carnosa’s? I feel that Carnie has outgrown this one. Also if there is one better suited for her, I’d like to help her. Thank you 🥰

Totally agree with PlantyAnn. My Hoyas are on a variety of trellis types. Some I’ve bought, some I’ve made. I like to use bonsai wire as it is a heavy gauge yet pliable.

Agree with all. No good or bad trellis for hoyas. It’s all personal preference. I use both metal and bamboo. Bamboo meat skewers and plant clips are good enough for the smallest plants and is light weight. The medium ones have bamboo in shapes of railroad tracks and arcs. The large plants have metal arcs or circles in heavy ceramic pots that can hold the weight. They will eventually rust. I mostly keep the height under one foot and wrap the long vines in spirals around the trellis if they get too long.

Another one in a 6 inch wide pot with a 1 foot metal trellis from Amazon. It’s very dry, but, putting out new growth. This has grown slowly because I kept it dry this winter. So, I don’t need a bigger trellis.

I like bamboo hoop trellis for Hoya with long vines. You can get them in many sizes.
