Hi community, A few leaves of my plant started looking like this. Two fell off. I am not sure what to do. I got the plant early december and I watered it twice so far, last time one and a half weeks ago. The soil is not wet, it doesn’t stick to my finger or anything but I wouldn’t say it’s completely dry because it feels cold to the touch. Should I give it more water or is this caused by overwatering?

Hoyas can take quite a while to acclimate. The white leaves will also show signs of distress sooner than others since they just aren’t as hardy. One thing to check for is whether there are mesh plugs around the roots. Sometimes Hoyas are grown in these and then a few stems are potted up together and the meshes are left on. This basically strangles the roots. Two of my Hoyas were going downhill when I got them and then I took them out of the soil and found these mesh plugs.

Th soil seems completely dry, I decided to water it today. I will also try to repot it. Thanks for the help!
