This Hoya Kerrii reverse var. is a beast. Vines are so hard to bend to the trellis. I do it with string and just tighten the string a tiny bit each day until it is where i want it. Sometimes the stem will weep a bit at the bend but then i just wait for it to heal/callous over and I start tightening the string again. I guess you could call it braces for a plant LOL

    Marijuana growers employ this same method to “train” their plants to grow bushier/wider etc. It’s referred to as LST or low stress training. It can stimulate growth too. She looks amazing đŸ€©!

    This is one of my wishlist plants however every Hoya I have bought I have killed. They just don’t like me. Yours is absolutely beautiful I have 30 plant that flourish but those damn Hoyas give me a run for my money lol
