Hoya Acuta inner variegata. This might be my most consistently slow growing Hoya. I got it May 2021 as a very small rooted plant and I was finally able to add a trellis to it today. It just slowly grows a bit of vine and then stops and works on a couple leaves, then takes a short rest and does it again. It is such a pretty Hoya but might be many years before I see flowers at this rate.

I’m new to Hoyas and I’m noticing the size of your pot. Do they generally like smaller pots? Yours is absolutely gorgeous btw

Thanks. Yes smaller pots is the way to go as it’s really easy to overwater. Hoya grow in the wild in the crooks of trees so room for roots is generally smaller than a plant growing in the ground.

She’s very pretty! I would struggle with her a few years because of her beauty.

Wow it’s gorgeous! I just picked up an acuta albo marginata. You’ve inspired me to put it on a trellis!
