Hi y’all! I’ve had my Hoya for 5 years, started from two leaves, now it’s big and beautiful. Just curious if there is anything I can do to encourage it to bloom? I have a blooming/rooting fertilizer that is 9-58-8 - not sure how frequently I should use that, or if that’s overkill. Thanks in advance!

Definitely use that fertilizer at half or quarter power just in case it could hurt the plant. I’ve heard that in order to make Hoyas bloom, you should stress them out a bit. Maybe wait a little longer to water or give them more or less light.

But also, some plants just don’t want to bloom, and that’s okay! Yours is gorgeous

In my experience, my hoya that bloom are in direct morning and late afternoon sun and they're fertilized with Dyna-Gro 7-9-5 every other watering when I see active growth. Also, I don't move them around. The average humidity is btw 50 & 60 %
