I have a tendency to overwater my compacta carnosa somehow so I don’t want to make the same mistake with my krimson queen. I only watered her two days ago but it seems she’s bone dry?? Should I water??

    I wouldn’t. They don’t need tons of water. I only water mine like every two weeks. They like drying out between watering! Try bottom watering these guys too, that way you know it’s fully saturated and good to go for a while.

    You can always do a leaf test, gently squeeze the leaf, if it easily folds (and its bone dry) then its time to water. If its stiff and doesn’t fold easily then you can wait.

      Thank you! I do this for my String of hearts but didn’t think to do it for this one!

      I found it works for a few different plants! Especially the ones who hold a lot of water in their leaves like Hoya’s :)
