Hello! I've been growing plants for decades now, but I've just become fascinated with Hoyas. I've had a Carnosa for years and I've propagated it many times, but it recently suffered from the Florida freeze. I cut it back and I'm thinking about trellising it (is that a word?). Is it true that the ends can't point downward because the point pointing downward will dry out? I've seen to wait for it to get long enough to wrap back around for they're end to point up. TIA

Yes you can trellis it. And I always leave the tip of the vine pointing up to prevent drying up. My Pubicalyx is wrapped around a circle trellis several times. I always live the tip up until it grows enough to wind it around the trellis again.
