Hi everyone! I got three new Hoya today and wanted to know if anyone has care tips or recommendations based on your growing conditions for these Hoya 😅 Left: H. Dennisii Frida Right: H. Heuschkeliana inner variegata Bottom: H. Leucantha I’m most curious about the light requirements as that seems to be most crucial and is most variable for different Hoya species in my collection. Thanks in advance for any tips!
No advice, since I’m a Hoya newbie, but interested in tips from the seasoned Hoya owners.

Great haul, they’re all beautiful! In my experience, Leucantha are very sensitive to root rot, so go easy on the watering and make sure she has drainage. Heusch is probably one of my easier Hoyas. I have mine in a mixture of tree fern fiber, coco chips, #3 perlite and charcoal. I water her with with a cal-mag/sea grow fertilizer mix about 5th day now that it’s hot. Mine live in a Milsbo tall cabinet under spider farmer grow lights with an average humidity of 75%.

좋아요 1개 Cal-mag isn’t a fertilizer, it’s basically a supplement to boost the fertilizer’s delivery system. I use Sea Grow 16-16-16 fert. because it consistently gives me amazing results. When you don’t grow in soil, (I only have two Hoya’s in a cactus soil mix) adding nutrients to your watering routine is a must otherwise they get none. Happy growing💚
