Can someone please help me? My first Hoya (compacta.) I have it in an east facing window and it’s starting to develop these black spots :( It did ship from Miami to Arkansas- so shipping stress is possible but when it arrived, the spots were not there.
I'm no huge expert so take this with a grain of salt but I've heard that black spots can be associated with irregular/improper watering. How long has she been with you?

Yes, that's probably to do with past stress. New stress wouldn't manifest this fast. Just leave it alone for a while and monitor it for pests and other problems. It will probably take a couple months to stabilize.
