Water changes

Marimo moss loves water - especially clean water - so whether you keep your pretty Marimo in a bottle, bowl or in an aquarium, you need to change the water from time to time.

Make sure the water temperature never gets higher than 25 °C / 77 °F. If necessary, you can actually place the bottle/bowl in the refrigerator during the warmer months.

Tap water usually works just fine, but if your Marimo is placed in an aquarium you also might want to dechlorinate the water.
