Tree shrub planting mix

Trees and shrubs need excellent drainage when planted in pots and containers. You can buy a ready-mixed blend or make your own. There are different recipes on starting mixes, one example is:

• Peat moss/Coco Peat

• Perlite/vermiculite

• Sand/bark

• Fertilizer

• Ground limestone

If you like, you can top your mix with some garden soil.
