# Create Custom Plant Care Reminders

With custom care tasks, you can create your own reminders for anything your plants need - beyond the standard care in Planta.

## Add a custom task to a plant

Go to one of your plants, tap the plus (+) button, and select Add custom task.  
From there, you can customize:

- Title
- Description
- Icon
- How often it repeats
- When it should stop

## Add tasks to a site

You can also add a custom task to an entire site  
Go to the site and choose to add a custom care task - this will apply to all plants in that space.

## Add tasks to multiple plants or all plants

To add a task more broadly, tap the plus (+) button in your To-do list and select Custom task.  
Here, you can choose one or more plants, or select all plants

## How it works

Once created, Planta will automatically schedule your task. It will appear in your To-do list when it’s time.

You can create reminders for anything, like:

- Rotating your plants
- Adding pesticides
- Moving plants to a new location
- Seasonal care routines
- Or any other custom need
